Using CAD for Garden Design - Part 2

This course follows on from 'Using CAD for Garden Design - part 1'. Whereas the earlier course adopted a broad brush approach and took a high level view - how does CAD work and how does CAD software interact with other programs, here we concentrate on showing how CAD is used professionally.

** It is assumed that you have taken the course 'Using GardenCAD for landscape design' or have 'played' extensively with AutoCAD or IntelliCAD as well as 'Using CAD for Garden design - part 1' before taking this course. **

We are aiming here to show you how to produce working drawings with some degree of flair and individuality. We use the software to create numerous plans; from designs for cottages, to courtyards, to wetlands and large scale amenity designs as well as show how to set up efficient symbol library systems and how to create new symbols.

As a precursor, you should have completed the 'Using GardenCAD course' and have a 'live' copy of it on your computer or alternatively, a copy of AutoCAD or IntelliCAD which is capable of saving files. It is not sufficient to have access just to a trial version of CAD software as you need to be able to save your work and come back to it at a later date.

Cost: $250.00
